What is the Blind Form URL Builder (BFURLB)?

The BFURLB is a tool that allows you to create a form that the user doesn't need to fill out. This is useful when you're sending an email to existing contacts because it means they don't have to go through the process of filling in another form, it will all be done for them behind the scenes. Once you've created your URL you can add it to your buttons and links in your email, as you would any other URL. The main thing to remember is that you need to ensure that you copy and paste the full URL that is created for you, otherwise the form won't submit all the required details.

There are 4 sections to the BFURLB:

Section 1: Enter your details

Providing your details means that an email can be sent to you so that you have a record of your URL.

Section 2: Specify your form type

By choosing whether you're editing an existing URL or creating a new one, the tool will adapt accordingly.

Find out what each field means below:

The tool allows you to create a new URL or edit an existing URL. To edit a new URL, just drop the full URL into the field that appears and hit 'EDIT FORM'. Then all the fields will be pre-filled with the information you originally filled in, and you can edit whichever details you need to.

Section 3: Build your blind form URL

If you have an SFDC Campaign ID to add, select 'Yes'. You will also need to ensure that your email states that the contact will receive either a phone call or an email from a Medtronic Representative.

If your campaign is a lead-generating campaign, you will get your SFDC Campaign ID from Salesforce. It will look like the following example, 7011r000001Dvph. If your campaign is not a lead-generating campaign you will not need to fill out this field.

Once you've selected both a BU Group, and a BU, the form will fill in the rest of the associated details automatically.

This is found in Eloqua when you create your shared List.

This will be the name of your campaign.

A 3 or 4 digit ID is required, please do not use URLs in this field, use the 'Other' field. You can use the default ID, which is 3589. Unlike before there is only one default thank you page which gets translated based on the language you choose. However, if you have your own thank you page, you can use that instead.

You can use this to redirect to a web page using a URL. However, the URL must be a Medtronic url, e.g. medtronic.com.

Your CMPID should be formatted like any of the following examples:
SMM:LKIN:static:WE_EN_NV_Mevo_GEN_MAR23
SMM_LI_Post_na_Endosheath_na_IT_IT_ENT_Endosheath-LinkedIn_GEN_MAR23_FY23
SMM:LI:na:WE_EN_PVH_LIleadVenasealSUPreach_GEN_JAN23
SMM:LKIN:Video:WE_EN_CST_OsteocoolWebinar-Followup_GEN_FEB23

Section 4: Check that your values are correct

Before you hit 'GET YOUR URL' give the information you wrote a once-over to make sure that it's all correct. If you need to make any changes you can hit 'MAKE CHANGES' and edit anything that needs adjusting. All information in this step (apart from your personal details) will make up your URL.
